Raymond Warsaba July 24, 1934 - November 11, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Regina Funeral Home WARSABA, Raymond - Ray was born on July 24, 1934 and passed away peacefully on November 11, 2005 surrounded by family. He was predeceased by his mother Eva Nyffenegger (Warsaba) and his stepfather Fred Nyffenegger; brother Eugene; brothers-in-law Allan Reed, Bill Reed, Ernie Meredith, Ross Lawrence. Ray is survived by his loving wife Margaret of 42 years; brother John (Anne) Nyffenegger of Saskatoon; sisters Jeanette (Jack) Goohsen of Gull Lake and Alice (Phil) Guenther of Saskatoon; sisters-in-law Clara Meredith, Myrtle Lawrence and Dianna Reed; brother-in-law Jim Reed as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Raymond was born in Hubbard, SK and moved to Guernsey at a young age. At 16 years old, he left home and went to work for Shemenhaur Millworks in Humboldt for a number of years. He was involved in the manufacturing of church pews, which most of us sat in, in the Province of Saskatchewan. Ray’s desire to work with wood, took him to Regina where he worked for Schneiders Millworks for a number of years. Ray met Margaret Reed, and they were married on November 17, 1962 in the town of Macklin. A VISITATION for family and friends will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at the Knox Metropolitan United Church, 2340 Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. INTERMENT to follow at Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK.
