WIGHT, Margaret (nee McCarthy) Margaret loved life. In her younger years she was an avid golfer and curler and continued to play bridge into her ninetieth year. Suddenly at Kingston General Hospital on Friday November 11, 2005. Predeceased by husband Howard “Tim“ Wight, son Howard, and son-in-law Barry Earle. Beloved Mother of Beverley Earle (nee Wight). Loving grandmother and cookie maker to granddaughters Jenny and Karen Earle. Margaret will be missed by her brothers Jack McCarthy (Helen), Francis McCarthy (Edith), Joe McCarthy (Genevieve), numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Predeceased by sisters Minerva Milne, Dorothy Maw, Patricia Crockett, Eileen McKenzie, and brothers Allan and Leo. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Boulevard) Kingston. Friends will be received on Monday between the hours of 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (392 Palace Road) on Tuesday, November 15 at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Cancer Center of South Eastern Ontario or St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Margaret's memory.
