Raymond Albert Felix June 05, 1927 - November 13, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) FELIX, Raymond Albert - 78, Dartmouth, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 13, 2005, in Dartmouth General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born June 5, 1927, in Newfoundland, he was a son of the late Albert and Ann Mae (Benoit) Felix. Felix was in the Royal Canadian Navy for 10 years and then went on to be a commissionaire for 25 years at various locations. He enjoyed carpentry work, gardening and watching the sailboats in the harbour. He will be sadly missed by his furry companion, Fluffy. Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, the former Joan Frances Behan; daughters, Donna (Paul) MacDonald, Ann Mosher (Bob), all of Dartmouth; stepsons, Mike McKenzie (Sharon), Trenton, Ont.; Wayne (Joan) McKenzie, Felix Cove, NL; grandchildren, Amy, Sean, Lisa, Christopher, Brandon; sisters, Mercedes, St. John's, NL; Mae MacDonald, Felix Cove, NL; brothers, Jim, Al, St. John's, NL; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Stan, Wilfred, Mike. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, where Raymond's family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and where the funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday. Reception to follow in Atlantic Funeral Home Family Reception Centre. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Family flowers only.
