CLARK, MATTIE MARIE -1925 - 2005. The death of Mattie Marie (Foster) Clark, wife of George Clark of Grafton, NB, occurred on Monday November 14 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital at the age of 80. Born in Grafton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Alexia (Shaw) Foster. Mattie is survived by her husband George of 59 years; children George (Ruth) Sussex, NB, Allan (Judy) Woodstock, NB, Valerie Curtis (Rick) St. John, NB; grandchildren: Angela Carson (Doug) Havelock, NB, Barb Daley (Jeff) Sussex, NB, Brian Clark Red Deer Alberta, Corey Clark (Laura) St. John, NB, Katie Findlater (Glendon) Florenceville, NB; great grandchildren: Katherine, Emily, Jennifer, Mathew, Evan, Brothers: John Foster (Louise) Woodstock, NB, Lewis Foster (Evelyn) Fredericton, NB, Malcolm Foster (Kay) North Berwick, Maine; several nieces and nephews. Mattie was predeceased by her parents; sisters: Rita, Joan, Grace, Juanita; and brothers: Garnet and Sumner. Visitation will be at The Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville on Wednesday November 16 from 3:30 to 5:30 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Thursday November 17 at 2 PM from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Grafton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society or Extra Muriel.
