GRANT, DONALD BLISS - Donald B. Grant was suddenly taken Home to be with his Lord while working in his yard in Kars, NB on November 14, 2005. Born in Saint John on March 31, 1930, he came to Kars in 1940 from the New Brunswick Protestant Orphanage. Donald lumbered and farmed until the moment God took him Home. He is survived by Colleen Mary (Coombes), his wife of fourty-eight years, three daughters, Emilie and Bradford Matheson, Kars, Cynthia and Bradford Chugg, Stratford PEI and Marlene Grant, College Grant, NS, fourteen grandchildren; Gilbert and his wife Stacy, Cecile, Chantelle, Suzanne, Colleen, Grant, Vance and Graeme Matheson all of Kars, Ammiel Chugg, AB and Phillip Chugg, PEI, Jason Walsh, Jillian, Megan and Joshua Watt, NS., three half brothers; Edward, Donald and William Leadley, Dartmouth, NS. Predeceased by mother; Beulah Leadley, half brother; Harold and half sister; Donalda. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, Wednesday, November 16, 2005 with visiting from 2 - 8 PM. Funeral service will be held at Central Wickham Baptist Church, 1929, Route 705, Wickham, on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John, NB at 3:00 PM, Thursday.
