Ursula Rowan (née Chauvin) October 22, 1930 - November 14, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel (Tecumseh) Rowan, Ursula (Gauthier, nee Chauvin) 75 years, on November 14, 2005. Beloved companion to Raymond Belanger and predeceased by husbands Oscar Roy Gauthier and Ross Rowan. Loving mother of Claude Gauthier and wife Debbie, Michele and husband Craig Marshall, Thomas Gauthier and wife Melody and Lisa and husband Marcel Simard. Dear grandmother of Jacqueline and Denise Gauthier; Chris and Dana Marshall; Tommi Lee, Sheldon and Steele Gauthier. Predeceased by her parents Laura and Raoul Chauvin. Dear sister of Jerome, Emile, Polydore, Donald, the late Walter, Jeanette Martin, Delores Blaskowski, Rose Marie Barnhouse, Jacqueline Marden, the late Claudette Marden. The family would like to thank the staff at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital and a special thanks ICU staff for their loving care. Visitation will be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh, (735-2830) on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will held from the funeral home on Friday, November 18, 2005 at 10:15 a.m. to St. Gregory the Great Church, for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Fr. Tom Janisse celebrant. Interment St. Anne Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Hotel Dieu Grace Hosptial ICU Intensive Care Unit would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Ursula Rowan in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 24, 2006. All are welcome.
