Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Helen Oxner and the late Charles Oxner. Marjorie is survived by her brothers, Jim (Rita) Oxner, Brookside; Craig (Carrie-Anne) Oxner, Halifax; sisters, Bev (Ken) Wilson, Halifax; Jo-Anne Oxner, Dartmouth; seven nephews; two nieces; two great-nephews; one great-niece. She was predeceased by brother, Terry Dennis Oxner; maternal grandparents, Curtis and Marjorie Jennex; paternal grandparents, Edgar and Edna Kinghorn. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday November 17, in Oakridge Memory Gardens, Rev. James Haughn officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Marjorie to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
