Ruby Furlong Ruby Elizabeth Furlong, 82, wife of the late James L. Furlong of Grass Home, Riverview, formerly of Connolly Street, Moncton, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born June 11, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel (Gallie) Joncas. She is survived by her six children, Anne-Marie McDermott (Jack), Rhoda Redick (Don), Phyllis Allain (Peter), Bernard (Phyllis), and Jimmy (Margaret) all of Moncton, Glen (Elaine) of Halifax; two sisters, Pearl Tanner (Raymond) of Dartmouth, Marjorie Dickie (Edward) of Moncton; two brothers, Franklin (Lynn) and her twin, Arthur "Jack" (Vy), all of BC; nine grandchildren, Angie, Cora, Kelly, Keri, Krista, Tammy, Jeff, Matthew, Chrissy; two great-grandchildren, Austin, Jacob, many nieces, and nephews. Besides her husband James (1991), she is also predeceased by her children Norman and Norma. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2005, at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Father Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton.
