John Joseph Caryi HALIFAX, NS - John Joseph Caryi, 67, of Halifax died peacefully at home, November 17, 2005. He was the son of John S. and Agnes (Carmichael) Caryi. His career in sales in the soft drink industry involved much travel. He is survived by brother, David; companion, Betty; son, Steven; daughter, Joanne and grandchildren, Ryan, Claire and Adelle. Visitation will be held Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be at 10 am Monday, November 21, 2005 at St Thomas Aquinas Church, 1725 Oxford St. Burial in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery immediately following the service. Reception will be at Snow's Funeral Home at 12:00. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association, VON or Red Cross. [Times & Transcript]
