BEAUDIN, Lewis "Lew", Suddenly, but peacefully on October 10, 2005 at home in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Betty (1999). Survived by his much loved daughter Barbara Friesen and her husband Larry. Brother-in-law of William Overs and his wife Joan and their four daughters. Predeceased by his brother Lawrence (1991). Lew was born in Ormstown, Quebec in 1919 to Herbert Beaudin and Margaret Sproule. He attended McGill University and graduated in 1941 as a Chemical Engineer. He later we nt to Brock University at the age of 70 to obtain his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music. After retirement from the Norton Company, he continued on to teach at Niagara College and Brock University. He served on the Niagara Falls Library Board, the Hosp ital Board and he was one of the founding members of the Foundation Board for the Greater Niagara General Hospital. Lew will be fondly remembered for his appreciation of the arts. Cremation has taken place. Lew's family will receive friends at the MO RSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street on Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Scapular Church on Thursday morning 11:30.
