TIMMERMAN, Dorie (Miss Daisy), Dorie passed away peacefully, at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital, on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at the age of 79. Predeceased by her husband Neil, son-in-law Dave, Parents, sisters Zeta, Bernice and Greta. Survived by h er daughter Sherrie, sister Joyce (Ted) Matthews of Burlington, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and special family Rick & Gratz Sheppard. Dorie was Past President and life member of Royal Canadian Legion Branc h 138 and Past President and life member of the Merritton Lioness. Special thanks to family, the Staff of the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital and Sister Louise for all their support. The family will receive friends at the KARL A. HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME and CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Merritton Lioness will hold a Memorial Service at the funeral home on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 138 will hold a Memorial Service on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
