D'AMELIO, Vera Anne, After a brave battle with cancer, Vera passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday, October 24, 2005. Vera is the loving wife of Michael, mother of Lori (Richard) Calla han, Diana (Michael) Proudfoot, Tina (Scott) Hinde and predeceased by her son Darryl. Proud grandmother of Brendan, Morgan, Nicholas and Madison and Ysabel. Dear sister of Walter, Rose, Agnes, Florence and Roy. Predeceased by her sister, Nellie and b rothers, William and Andrew. Vera will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Vera lived and died with grace, dignity and respect. A heartfelt appreciated to the nurses, physicians, and staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Vera is resting at the PATRICK J. DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 39 Court St., St. Catharines, 905-685-6584 on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at 11 a.m. at St. Alfre d's Church, 272 Vine St., (905) 934-9703. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Reception to follow.
