HOLMES, Evelyn E. (Kelley), Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital, on Tuesday, October 25, 2005, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur George Holmes (1997). Loving mother of Keith, of St. Catharines, Scott and his wife Ellen, of St. Anns, Ross and his wife Diane, of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Barbara Holmes of St. Catharines. Dear grandmother of Gregory (Shawna) and Daniel. Great-grandmother of Isaiah. Dear sister of Lucille Johnston. Predeceased by her sisters Cleora Kelley, Leone O'Mara, Elvira Gibbard and Vivian Wedsworth, and brother Courtney Kelley. Mrs. Holmes was a member of St. George's Anglican Church and a past member of the St. Catharines General Hospital Ladies' Auxiliary. Cremation has taken p lace. The family will receive friends at THE HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St., 905-684-6346, on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 from 12 until 1 p.m., at which time a Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel.
