Grimaldi, Salvatore (Sam) - After a courageous battle with cancer, Sam passed away at home Sunday, November 6, 2005 with his family by his side. Sam is survived by his wife Ida of 63 years. Loving father to Julie Aiello (Frank), Anna Aiello (Tony), Gina Crossley (Glenn) and grandchildren Rob (Tracy), Sam (Krista), Marco (Carrie) and Christopher. Beloved great-grandfather to Robbie, Trevor, Michael, David, Tyler and princess Julianna. Also survived by his brothers and sisters Virginia, Anna, Maria, Assunta, Dora, Ida and his sister's-in-law Anna and Maria Molinaro. Predeceased by his parents Antonio and Chiara, sister Giulia brothers Stano, Eugenio, Michele and Giovanni, son Anthony (Tony, 1978), grandchildren John, Benjamin and Jenna. Mr. Grimaldi is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 7, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, November 8, 2005 between 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be said on Tuesday at 3 p.m. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church on Wednesday November 9, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
