HAMMOND, Hazel P. (nee Schaefer) - Peacefully at Hilltop Manor, Cambridge on Monday, November 7th, 2005 in her 94th year, formerly of Palmerston. Beloved wife of the late W. Cecil Hammond (December 23rd, 1968). Loving mom of Muriel (John) Garton of Paisley, Helen Woods (Don Ganner) of Palmerston, Neil (Patricia) Hammond of Cambridge, Ray Hammond of Kitcheneer and Karl A. Hammond of Thorold. Loved grandma of Gary (Kim), Dale (Helen), Kaye, late Timothy, Lynn (Kent), Bill (Debbie), Debbie (Brett), Judy (Ron), Bill (Carolyn), Katherine, Christoper (Sandra) and 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Helen Hammond of Moorefield. Predeceased by her parents Justus and Catherine (Kregar) Schaefer and two sisters Violet Smith and Mildred Floto. Aunt of 5 nephews and their families. HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold, on Wednesday, November 9th from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Visitation at the HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME, 267 Main Street, Palmerston on Thursday, November 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service at Knox Presbyterian Church, Main Street, Palmerston on Friday, November 11th at 12:00 noon with The Rev. James Johnson officiating. (Visitation at the church from 11:00 a.m.). Interment Bethesda Cemetery, Maryborough Township.
