RAPATTONI, Rose - It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our mother and grandmother. All who knew her would agree she was a feisty little lady that never gave up. At the St. Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday, November 22, 2005 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Vito Rapattoni (May 31, 2001). Loving mother of Kathy (Sam) DeMita, Loretta (Rick) Burnett and Dave (Laura) Rapattoni. Grandma will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Anthony (Gloria) DeMita, Jennifer (Jason) Smith, Christopher (Nancy) Burnett and Alyssa Rapattoni and by her great grandchildren Samantha, Ashley, Samuel and Sarah. Dear sister of Minnie Battista and sister-in-law of Mary Greco. Special aunt to niece Carol and nephew Louis and their families. A special thank you to Dr. Garland, Dr. Kerley and the Palliative Care Unit for the care and compassion they showed to our mother. Also, a special thank you to Angie Kozachenko, our mother's good friend, for all her love and support. Rose's family will receive their family and friends at the LAMB-BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent St., Thorold on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 21 Queen St. S., Thorold on Thursday at 10 a.m. The Rite of Entombment, Lakeview Cemetery Mausoleum, Thorold. Vigil Prayers will be celebrated at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Rose to the St. Catharines General Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family. - 11/23/2005 - ID7458567
