TEICHGRAF, Peter - At Heritage Place in Virgil, after a brave, yet lengthy, battle with Parkinsons, we are sad to announce the passing of Peter Teichgraf. Beloved husband of Erika and devoted and generous father of Karin and Walt Fast, Doris Lepp, George and Deb Teichgraf, Fred and Pam Teichgraf, and Elly Teichgraf. Loving Opa to Lauren and Richard Pankratz, Eddie and Alex Fast, Mark Bryn, Sam Lepp, Eric and Brian Teichgraf, Nicole, Stephanie and Melissa Teichgraf and his grosskatze Speck. Peter was well liked by all in the Niagara community who knew him for his easy and ready laugh as well as his storytelling and was skilled in diverse furniture design and woodworking. He loved his garden, especially flowers, and he served for many years in the church choir with jubilation. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL OF THE TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King Street on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-8:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Niagara United Mennonite Church on Tuesday, November 29th at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Niagara Lake Shore Cemetery.
