Ruth Zelensky March 12, 1922 - November 18, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Evergreen Funeral Chapel Mrs. Ruth Zelensky went peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at the age of 83 years. Ruth will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by her children: Dan (Judy), Fred (Darlene), Bob (Brenda), Mike (Sabrina), Charles, Anna-Mae (Rob) Fitzsimmons and William, 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Ruth will also be missed by her sister Margaret (Leo) Zaharoff and brother Nils Henningsmoen as well as numerous other family and friends. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Peter, son John and sister Helen. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road. A graveside service will follow at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Ruth's Life will be held later that afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Rosenthal, Twp. Rd. 524 & Rge. Rd. 13, 5Km West of Stony Plain (Phone 963-4048) with Pastor James Bredeson officiating. Memorial donations in memory of Ruth may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Rosenthal, Box 2965, Stony Plain, AB, T7Z 1Y4 or to the Misericordia Hospital Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
