Laverda Mae Walls (née Lucas) May 02, 1921 - November 18, 2005 WALLS, Laverda Mae (nee Lucas) 84 years, Nov. 18, 2005. Predeceased by her husband Clifford Walls (1994). Beloved mother of Dr. Bryan E. Walls (recipient of the Order of Canada) and his wife Anna Marie, and Dr. Brad Walls and Beatrice. Dear grandmother of Geoffrey and his wife Connie, Sam, Jennifer, Brittany, David, Adam, and Tiffany. Great-grandmother to Jordan, Mirandus, Justus, Marcus and Nathan. Visitation will be held from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, at Janisse Bros.-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave. (253-5225) . Mrs. Walls will rest at the First Baptist Church, Puce, from 10:00 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, until time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Curtis Scott officiating. Interment Walls Family Cemetary, John Freeman Walls Historic Site, Puce, Ont. Memorial donations may be made to the Proverbs Heritage Organization for the Development of the John Freeman Walls Historic Site and Underground Railroad Museum, 932 Conc. 6, RR #3 Essex, N8M 2X7. A tree will be planted in memory of Laverda Walls in the Janisse Bros.-Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 24, 2006. All are welcome.
