Evelyn Marie Lessard (née McNorton) November 25, 1911 - November 23, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel (Tecumseh) 94 years, peacefully, on November 23, 2005 surrounded by her loving family. Long time resident of Tecumseh. Beloved wife of the late Alfred (1989). Loving mother of Edward and Margaret (the late Beatrice); Leo and Vicky; Yvonne and Lawrence Barrette; Ted and Elaine; Fred; Patricia and George Krakana; and Dolores and Bill Lessard. Dear meme to 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Dear sister of Gladys Boivin and Genevieve McNeil and the late Eva Krekorian, Marie Fields, Norman, Louis, Gordon and Fred McNorton. Evelyn along with her husband Fred, operated Lessard Greenhouses for 65 years and she was a 60-year Member of the Catholic Womens League. Special thanks to all the staff at Banwell Gardens and to Dr. Loebach for the wonderful care extended to our mother during her stay there. Prayers Friday at 3:00 p.m. Parish prayers Friday at 7:30 p.m. The funeral will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at 10:15 a.m. from The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830) to St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. A Liturgy of Farewell will take place at 10:45 a.m. Interment at St. Anne Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the charity of your choice or offerings of Masses would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Evelyn Lessard in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 24, 2006. All are welcome.
