Mathew Sperlie passed away peacefully at the age of 90 years and 3 months. He is predeceased by his parents Gottlieb and Veronica; his first wife Mary (Dusyk) Syrnyk in 1980, four sisters: Maggie Heintz, Amanda Beler and two in infancy; one brother Frank Sperlie; sister-in-law Annie Sperlie; three brothers-in-law Edmond Zerr, John Heintz and Gabe Silbernagel. His memory will be cherished by his second wife Louise and two sisters Veronica Silbernagel and Alice (Ted) Silbernagel; also numerous nieces and nephews. Mathew was born and raised in Billimun, SK where he farmed for fifty years, then retired in Regina, SK. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 2049 Scarth Street, Regina, SK on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Emmett Morrissey officiating.
