Art had also retired from the Liftlock and Laidlaw Bus Lines and was current President of the Ontario Curling Association) - Suddenly at the Peterborough Curling Club on Friday November 25, 2005. Art Kavanaugh of Peterborough in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Karen (Richardson). Dear father of Dean (Donna) of Scarborough, Susan Kavanaugh of Toronto. Grandfather of Dylan, Braden and Tiernan. Brother of Gloria (Mike Finerty) of Scarborough. Art is also survived by many neices and nephews. Friends will be received at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 600 Monaghan Rd. S. Peterborough, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. A memorial service will take place from Mark St. United Church, 90 Hunter St. E., Peterborough, on Thursday December 1, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Robert Root officiating.
