Presley H. ROBERTS

Presley H. Roberts Presley H. Roberts 94, of Moncton in the presence of his family passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Thursday, November 24, 2005. Born in Main River, Pres was the son of the late William and Serena (Bovard) Roberts. Pres was a retired Machine Operator with Swift Canadian with 48 years service and was a member of Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church. He was very active in bowling, was a member of the Moncton Ponchos and was inducted into the Moncton Wall of Fame in September 1995. Pres was a very kind and gentle individual who had the up most respect from his family and friends. Pres will be sadly missed by his daughter; Glenda Thurber (George), Moncton; son, Harold (Shirley), Kanata, ON; grandchildren, Darrell Thurber (Karen), Kate Reddick (Melvin), Cynthia Thurber-Smith (Bill Smith), Pamela Chantrand (Ed); great grandchildren, Ben Chantrand, April Brake, Storme Thurber, Sabrina Reddick, Taylor Reddick, Colton McLean, Paige Smith; brother, Douglas (Joan), Moncton; Several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Lulu (Lou)(Upham) (May 1985); sisters, Gladys and Connie, brothers, Lambert and Alfred. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Sunday 2 to 4, 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Monday November 28, 2005, 1:30pm. Pastor Jim Wright officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
