CHAPMAN, GEORGE ORAN The death of George Oran Chapman of Burton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2005. Born in Wentworth, NS, he was the son of the late Arthur and Frances (Lewis) Chapman and the husband of Vera Hannan. Survived by his common-law-wife Vera Hannan; one daughter, Darlene Daley (Donald) of Alberta; two sons, David "Larry" of Alberta, and Terry (Elaine) of Kentville, NS; grandchildren, Krystal, Lillian, Terry Jr, Gregory, Evan and Ryan; great grandchild, Isabella; brothers, Arthur of Nanaimo, BC, Roderick of Amherst, NS and Lester of Hamilton, ON; sisters, Helen Johnson of Oxford, NS and Sherry Dixon (Clifford) of Oxford , NS. Predeceased by his parents, one brother in law, Walter Johnson. Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Saturday, November 26th, 2005 at 12:00 - 2:00 pm followed by the funeral service at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. Rev. Ken Weir will officiate. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 93 will hold a tribute service following the funeral service.
