Gwenyth Jean DOYLE

Gwenyth Jean Doyle September 22, 1928 - November 25, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Leyden's Funeral Home (Calgary) Gwenyth Jean Doyle (Gwen) passed away on Friday, November 25, 2005 surrounded in the love of her family. She will be forever loved, and deeply missed by her children: John/Jack, Dave (Patti), Brian (Jeanette), and Garth (Isabella); as well as her grandchildren: Taylor, Shannon, Paige, Rayshell, Andrew and Joshua. She also leaves to mourn her sister Norma (Vern) and numerous nieces and nephews. Gwen was a constant giver, volunteering at both The Interfaith Food Bank and The Kerby Centre, where she dedicated countless hours. She was happy when modelling for the Kerby Museum of Fashion. She greatly enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren. They were an endless source of her laughter and joy. Gwen was predeceased by her loving husband Walter in 1967, leaving her to raise her four boys independently, while living in Caroline Alberta. She was also predeceased by her sister Lenore Mitchell in 1993. Gwen will be remembered for her kind heart. All that were blessed to know her were touched by her genuine caring and goodness. We would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Reuther and staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, as well as Dr. Wong and the nurses on Unit 47 of the Rockyview Hospital.If friends so desire donations in Gwen's name may be made to the charity of your choice. Celebration of Life Services will be held at Leyden's Funeral Home, "Chapel of Remembrance,"304 - 18 Avenue SW, (on the corner of 17 Avenue and second Street SW), on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 1:30 pm.
