Ivy Phyllis BLAKENEY

BLAKENEY, Ivy Phyllis Peacefully on Monday, October 31, 2005 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Charles Hunter Blakeney. Loving mother of the late Ian and his wife Marge. She is survived by her brother-in-law Bill Blakeney and his wife Frances. Ivy was a member of the ESWIC Girls (war brides), a proud supporter of the Lanark Animal Welfare Society and a long time member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Humane Society of Ottawa-Carleton. She enjoyed her time at her exercise classes at St. Mark's Anglican Church. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd. (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd.), on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Mark's Anglican Church, 1606 Fisher Avenue, on Thursday at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ottawa-Carleton Human Society would be appreciated.
