Jean Margaret FREMMING

DOUGLAS, Jean Margaret (nee Fremming) R.N. On Tuesday November 1, 2005 at age 77, after a brief illness, Jean died peacefully at home surrounded by her beloved family. Dear wife of Austin for 47 years. Loving mother of Mark (Carol), Ottawa, John (Sandra), Toronto, Joan, Ottawa, Margaret Ann (Dennis), San-Antonio, Texas, Richard (Jennifer), Ottawa, Judy (Chris), Beaumont, Texas and loving grandmother to Merryn, Stuart, Charles, Amelia, Jonathan, Sabrina, Joey, Keely and Swanee. Predeceased by parents Charles and Mabel Fremming (Winnipeg) and brother Charles. Loving sister of Gerda Allison (Gerard), Toronto, Ellen (Brooks), Seattle and sister-in-law Agathe, Vancouver. Many nieces and nephews. Jean's bold bidding will be missed by her many bridge friends. Memorial mass to be held at Annunciation of the Lord Church, 2414 Ogilvie Rd. Gloucester at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2005. Grateful thanks to the staff of the Ottawa Hospital and to Dr. Susan Gick and the CCAC Palliative care team for their excellent care and support and especially to Ellen, Margaret and Joan for their tender loving care. No visitation at the Funeral Home. Private burial planned at Beechwood Cemetery. Donations to CNIB or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation for those who wish, would be appreciated.
