MASON, Henry Warren Born in Chicago, U.S.A December 10, 1920 Retired Canadian Army Retired National Defense Peacefully at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Hull, Quebec, on October 30, 2005. Surrounded by family and friends including his life-long best friend, Bernie Langill. Husband of his beloved wife, Cecilia Theresa Larkin. Son of Hendrik and Martha. Brother of the late Ken, Marjorie, Gordon (Mona), Dick (Joanie) and Gilbert (Betty). Father of Anthony (Lynne) and Paul. Predeceased by his darling son in heaven, David Vincent. Grandfather of Tara (Adam), Tony (Rebecca), Stephanie, Nicole and Logan. Great-Grandfather of Braiden and Hannah. The family would like to thank: Jan Eastaugh, a great friend. Cecilia Coady and Monica Callaghan, two special nieces who visited from Prince Edward Island. Father Joy, parish priest of Saint Marks Church, Aylmer, Quebec, who visited Henry many times in hospital and administered the Last Rites of the Catholic Church. The scores of fellow-parishioners who prayed for Henry and sent their best wishes. His personal physicians: Dr. Evelyn Honsl and Dr. Michel Finlay for their skill and professionalism. His attending physician in hospital, Dr. Sophie Forest, for her care and compassion. To the Sacred Heart Hospital in Hull, the most wonderful hospital staff in the world, a deep and sincere appreciation. Especially, finally, and most importantly to the adorable nurses and support workers of the palliative care unit, thank you so much. Resting at LA COOPERATIVE FUNERAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS at 95, boul. Cite des Jeunes, Hull, on Thursday November 3rd, 2005 from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Friday November 4th, 2005 at 11 at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 160, rue Principale, Aylmer. Graveside service at Hope Cemetery November 4th, 2005 at 2.30 p.m. Dear God, I've been in love with You for a long long time. I've always believed in an eternal destiny.
