BAUM, Joseph. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 31, 2005. Beloved husband of Zina Gardbein Schulz and the late Yvette Caroyez. Devoted father and father-in-law of Renee and Pat Skovronck of New York, Michel and June Baum, Jacqueline and the late Jacques Baum of Belgium and stepfather of Jack and Tonie Shultz, Robert Shultz, Norma Shultz. Cherished grandfather of Jean Paul and Jennifer; Andrew and Carlye; Stephanie and Fabris; Erica; Rachel and Michelle. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Irving and Helen Baum of New York, Louis (Yidel) and Esther Baum and brother-in-law of Yitschak and Miriam Goren of Israel. Sadly mourned by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Daniel Benaim and the staff of Mt. Sinai Hospital and Dr. Robert Bailey and the staff of St. Mary's Hospital for their care and devotion.
