CORNISH, Eleanor M. (nee Perkins) Peacefully at Granite Ridge, Stittsville on Monday, October 31st 2005. Eleanor M. (Perkins) Cornish in her 94th year. Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Acheson) Perkins Sr. and wife of the late Canon James W. Cornish. Cherished mother of Mary (Peter) Barkway of Cornwall, Helen (John) Kalil of Ottawa and Margaret Cornish (Ray Blackburn) of New Zealand. Loved and respected grandmother of Stephen and the late David Barkway, Kerri-Lynn and Timothy (Jolyne Sather) Kalil; great grandmother of Peter, Rosanna, Justin, Jamie and David Barkway and Johnathan Kalil. She was predeceased by her sister Irene and her husband Dr. A.G. Strang, brother Joseph and his wife Doris (Taggart) Perkins Jr. and infant twin brothers John and Stuart Perkins. Eleanor will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by David's wife Cindy Barkway, her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth on Friday, November 4th, 2005 from 2 to 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held in St. Alban's Anglican Church, Maberly on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment, St. Stephen's Cemetery, Brooke.
