STERNTHAL, Phyllis (nee Copelovitch). Peacefully, on Thursday, November 3, 2005, at the age of seventy-eight, after a ten year struggle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Beloved wife of Julius for sixty years. Devoted and dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Jack and Lilla, Betty and Eliot Goldwarg, Lise and Luke Sklar, Joni and David Jones. Cherished "Nana Phyllis" of Daniel, Janna, Eric, Jordan, Rebecca, Naomi, Kira, Michael, Stephanie and Matthew. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Esther and the late Morty Copelovitch. Sister-in-law of Issie and the late Roslind Sternthal, the late Ben and the late Eve Sternthal, Victor and the late Esther Shanefield. Many thanks to her devoted caregiver Suzy Oana, and to the staff at The Waldorf Senior's Residence. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday, November 6 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at Chevra Kadisha Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, Sources Blvd., D.D.O. Shiva will be observed Sunday through Tuesday evening, from 1:00 p.m. daily at her home, 4660 Bonavista #802.
