WALSH, Joan Marie Suddenly, at home, on Thursday, October 26, 2005, aged 53 years. Beloved daughter of the late Leo Francis and Gertrude Mary Walsh of Holyrood, Newfoundland. Predeceased by siblings Marie, Fair Haven, Missouri, Rita and Brendan, Newfoundland. Survived by siblings Len (Rose) of Ottawa, Ronald, Leo, Vince, Tom and Kay of Newfoundland, Tony, of Edmonton Alberta, Geraldine Pleacher of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and many nieces and nephews. As per Joan's wishes, remains to be cremated and ashes transported to Holyrood, Nfld. for burial service. Published in the Ottawa Citizen on 11/5/2005
