SMITH, Constable Paul McCain R.C.M.P. Reg. No. 39177 Born May 5, 1963 Passed away suddenly in Orleans, Ontario on Sunday November 6, 2005. He has left in grief his loving wife Paulette Smith (Ossinger). The son of Mrs. Nellie Smith, Renfrew, and the late Lt. Col. Lloyd Smith; brother of Deacon Donald (Nancy) Smith, Renfrew, S/Sgt. (R.C.M.P. Ret.) Perry (Madeleine) Smith, Orleans, Rev. Michael Smith, London, Ontario, Stephen Smith, Toronto, Rosemary Smith (Jonathan Higdon), Ottawa, Ontario and uncle of several nieces and nephews. Paul proudly served for 18 years in the R.C.M.P., on detachments in Nova Scotia and more recently in the Northwest Territories. Visitations at the GOULET FUNERAL HOME, 310 Argyle St. S., Renfrew Wednesday November 9th, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday November 10th 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 100 Lisgar Ave. W., Renfrew, Ontario at 2 p.m. A memorial service and inurnment will be held at a later date, to be announced, in Nova Scotia. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's name to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario would be appreciated.
