LAPERRIERE, Roger M. (1926-2005). Roger passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at the West Island Palliative Care Residence with his wife and best friend, Desneiges, at his side. Roger leaves to mourn his children Micheline, Marcel and Carole, and his sisters Marie-Paule, Huguette, Alberte and Paquerette (Peter Cuddihy), and brothers Gilles and Jacques along with his grandchildren and numerous friends. Roger was predeceased by his son Jean Guy and his brothers Gaston, Rheal and Jean Marie. Roger was a long time employee of Hewitt Equipment Ltd. and a Past President of The General Vanier Branch of The Royal Canadian Legion. He was also The President of the North Shore Seniors Association. As per Roger's wishes, visitation will be half an hour prior to the Legion/Church service which will take place on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 11,075 Gouin Blvd. West, Pierrefonds. In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Island Palliative Care Residence, 265 Andre Brunet St., Kirkland, Qc., H9H 3R4 would be appreciated by the family.
