OLIVER, Clarence. Clarence C. Oliver (Charlie) passed away on Friday, November 4, 2005 at the Father Dowd Residence at the age of eighty-nine, after a courageous battle with cancer and congestive heart failure. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary S. Oliver (nee Williams) and infant son, Ian. Charlie is survived by his children Joan, John, Doris, Gladys, Cherie, Sheila, Andrew, Frankie, Alberta, Roberta, Beverly, Gail, Dale, Carl, and Calvin; thirty-five grandchildren, and thirty-eight great-grandchildren; and his one sister, Pearl Oliver, of Boston, Mass. Also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff on the second floor at Father Dowd, for taking excellent care of our father while in their care. Resting at Feron's Funeral Homes, 2630 Notre Dame St. West, Montreal. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, November 11, 2005 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, November 12 at noon.
