BESNER, Doris (nee Moffatt). (February 21, 1919 - November 14, 2005). An angel came to guide Mom home, yet her spirit lives on in her three loving children Francine Salthouse (Phil), Mark (Christina), and Johanne Besner-Webb (Keith), grandchildren Jeffrey (Marina), James (Nicole), Kendra, and great granddaughter Ariana. Caring sister to Muriel and Norm (Violet). Predeceased by her husband Reginald, siblings Bob (Lorraine), Margaret (the late Tom), George (Maureen), Jim (Kay), Al (Doris), and Gord (Kathy). Dearest friend to Pat, Audrey, Joan, and Barb. Cherished Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation on Wednesday, November 16 from 2 to 5, and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Armstrong-Rideau Funeral Home, 1640 Cote Vertu, St. Laurent. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church, 7355 rue Lajeunesse. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or St. Mary's Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
