DAVIES, John B. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Beverley (nee Bigland), John died peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by family on Sunday, November 13, 2005 at age 82. He was a proud father to Brian (Lynn) of Ottawa and Donald (Colleen) of Calgary. His star role was a beloved and involved grandpa to Annie and Alex, Alastair, Daelan, and Elliott. He leaves three sisters: Jane Massad (Morris), Virginia Stewart (John) and Wendy Mawdsley (Robert) and many nieces and nephews. John served in the R.C.A.F. as a Fighter Pilot during World War II. He was a former longtime employee of E.B. Eddy's, a longstanding member of the Galineau Fish and Game Club and a member of and ski instructor for Camp Fortune. At John's request a private family service was held. He will be missed by many family and friends.
