BRUNET, Bernie (Bernard). Died peacefully at home with his family on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the age of eighty-three. Loving husband and best friend of Ida Furlini for 56 years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Gina and Vito Vescio of Oakville, Thomas and Martha (Dent) of Brampton and Gerald and Diane (Prevost) of Kirkland. Treasured grandfather to Joseph, Matthew, Hannah, Kevin and Rachel. He will be sadly missed by his sister, many brothers, and sisters-in-law. The family will receive relatives and friends at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Notre Dame Street, Lachine (514) 639-1511, on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. Funeral service to be held at the Resurrection of Our Lord Church, Lachine, Wednesday November 23 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Rideau Memorial Gardens following the service.
