Shirley Elizabeth DEACON

DEACON, Shirley Elizabeth Peacefully in hospital, Wednesday, November 16 It is with great sadness that the family of Shirley Deacon announces her passing, in her 59th year. Shirley is the much loved daughter of Dorothy Deacon and the late John "Jack" Deacon. She is survived by her mother, her two sisters, Valerie Hayes (Paul) and Janis McMahon (Terry), all of Ottawa, one brother, Christopher (Micheline), of Oshawa, and seven nieces and nephews, David and Andrew Hayes, Bridgid, Conor and Caitlin McMahon and Tania and John Deacon. A private service was held Saturday, November 19 at Tubman's Garden Chapel, followed by interment at Merivale Cemetery. Published in the Ottawa Citizen on 11/22/2005
