Di IORIO, Nicola. Passed away peacefully at the age of seventy-nine after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease on November 21, 2005, at the CHSLD Nord de l'Ile (Pavillion St. Joseph de la Providence). He was predeceased by his wife, Antonietta Reonegro. He leaves many wonderful memories with his daughter Giuseppina, son-in-law Giovanni Carozza, his treasured grandsons, David and Matthew. He was born at Vinchiaturo, Campobasso, Italy, brother of Maria (Salvatore Varriano), Filomena (Michele Baratta), Libera (Frank Masella), Carmela (Nicola Lombardi). The family will receive condolences at 1255 Beaumont, TMR, on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Transfiguration of Our Lord, 11775 Filion, Montreal, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 24, 2005, followed by burial at Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fondation St-Joseph de la Providence.
