WHELTON, Sharon (nee Roberts). After a long and courageous three years of illness, Sharon the beloved wife of Joseph Whelton, passed away in her sleep at St. Mary's Hospital on November 21, 2005. Besides her husband, Sharon is survived by three daughters: Angela (Brian Quinn), Laura, Tara (Denis St. Jean), and a son Bart. She leaves to mourn seven grandchildren: Ashleigh, Chelsea, Hannah, twins Adam and Logan, Daria and Laura Jr. Sharon is also survived by her eighty-nine year old mother Hazel Roberts and a brother Brad (Anne), and many nieces and nephews. She will as well be sadly missed by other relatives and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Resting at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 5644 Bannantyne Ave., Verdun (at Beatty). Funeral Service in St. Thomas More Church, 980 Moffat Ave., Verdun on Friday, November 25 at 10 a.m., thence to Lakeview Cemetery.
