MORGAN, (John) Ross 1920 - 2005 We have lost a kind and gentle soul, Ross Morgan; friend, father, grandfather, husband, brother and son. He died peacefully in his sleep at the Giant's Head Companion Care home in Summerland, B.C. early on November 22, 2005. Ross is survived by his daughter, Kim Glen and her husband Paul, as well as his son, Bill Morgan, his wife Susann, and Ross' grandchildren, Sarah, Christopher and Thomas. Connie Morgan, Ross' wife of 41 years died in 1991. He retired a commander in the Canadian Navy following distinguished war service in the Royal Navy. An accomplished naval architect, Ross designed and built ships still in use today. Although he suffered from dementia in his later years, he was always a gentleman who treated all with respect, kindness and generosity. A wonderful companion - he will be missed. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 28th at 2 p.m. at St. Barbara's Anglican Church in Okanagan Falls, B.C. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
