Isobel OATWAY

Sister Isobel OATWAY (Sr. Mary Remigius) Of the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul, died on November 23, 2005 at Providence Motherhouse, Kingston. Born in Stanleyville, Ontario, on May 6, 1913, Sister Isobel is predeceased by her parents, William and Mary Ellen (Corkery), her sister, Geraldine, her brother, Gordon and her step-brother, Elburn. Sister is survived by her sisters, Margaret, and Gladys of Oshawa, and Mary and Dorothy of Ottawa. She will be fondly remembered by her many relatives, friends, and by the members of her religious congregation. Resting at Providence Motherhouse, 1200 Princess St., Friday, November 25 from 2 p.m., the Vigil Service will be at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Chapel of Mary Mother of Compassion, Providence Motherhouse on Saturday, November 26 at 10:30 a.m. Rite of Committal St. Mary's Cemetery, Kingston.
