STIRTON, Mabel The Matriarch of Our Family Peacefully at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital, with her beloved daughter Debbie at her side, on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at the age of 91. Mabel will be lovingly remembered by her children Deborah (Thomas Massey), Sandra Carruthers (Ross), of Edmonton, James (Cheryle) of Victoria and John (Linda) of Moose Jaw, and is predeceased by her daughters Beverley Rea and Sharron Wilson. Cherished mother-in-law of Larry 'Wink' Wilson (Jane) and Paul Rea (Sonya) of Richmond, Virginia. She also will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Ryan Browne, Alexandra, Jeff, Dan, Michele, Leigh-Ann, Caryn, Patti, Paula, Michael, Michelle, David, Diane, Nancy, Doug, Kerry, Scott, Tammy, Cherie, Michael and many great- granchildren. She will be forever remembered and missed by her many friends including 'The Girls'. Mabel's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and volunteers of St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital and to the 'stroke team' at the Kingston General Hospital. A Celebration of Mabel's Life will be held in the Chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2) on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society in Mabel's memory.
