Marion Elizabeth CARR

HALMAN, MARION ELIZABETH The death of Marion Elizabeth Halman, wife of Reginald B. Halman, of Lincoln, NB, occurred on November 29, 2005 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on March 19, 1934 in Geary, NB, she was a daughter of the late Glasier and Alice (Smith) Carr. Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter Marilyn Halman of Calgary, AB; three sons, Brian Halman of Nevers Road, Danny Halman (Cheryl Welbon) of Lincoln, NB and Roger Halman of Medicine Hat, AB; one granddaughter, Linda Halman; two sisters, Viola Carr and Yvonne Player, both of Geary, NB; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marion was predeceased by her son Gerald and two brothers, Ronald and Arlington Carr. Visitation will take place at Geary United Pentecostal Church, 4 Lauvina Road, Geary, NB on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2005 at 2 pm from Geary United Pentecostal Church, Geary, NB, with Rev. Mark Noel officiating, assisted by Rev. Robert Foster. Pallbearers will be Leo Profit, Dennis Belliveau, Howard Grant, Alden McLeneghan, Gary Cleghorn, John McFadzen. Following cremation, interment will take place in the Preston Carr Cemetery, Geary, NB. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
