James "Jimmy" Awram July 04, 1932 - November 29, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel (Tecumseh) 73 years. It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our dad and grandpa James Awram on November 29, 2005. Beloved husband of the late Pauline (nee Jacob) (1987). Loving dad of Karen and husband Victor Zorzit, Kevin Awram and wife Karrie and Deanna and husband Jeff Wikle. Devoted pipi to Justin, Avery, Colin, Kennedi and Aeryk. Predeceased by parents John and Rose . Survived by brother Alec Awram and wife Marilyn and sister Mary Brown and predeceased by brothers Mike , Bill and John. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jimmy retired from Inter City Truck Lines after 32 years of service. Jimmy's passion in life was fishing and hunting. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Jimmy's life will be held on Monday, December 5, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830). Rev. Kevin George officiating. Interment at St. Anne Cemetery. In kindness memorial donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Jimmy Awram in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 24, 2005. All are welcome.
