Mr. William G. Weatherbee December 31, 1948 - November 30, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) WEATHERBEE, William G. - 56, Halifax, passed away November 30, 2005, in QEII Health Sciences Centre. Bill was born in Sydney and raised by his foster parents, Charles Fred and Hilda Sampson, and later moved to Halifax. Surviving are his wife, Judith Ferguson; stepsons, Charles Meagher, Halifax; Jason Meagher, British Columbia; foster sister, Elsie Herridge (Ongo), Windsor. He was predeceased by foster brother, John MacGillivary. Visitation will take place from 2-4 p.m. on Monday, December 5, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. Funeral mass will take place 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. A special thank you to Dr. Sal Al-Mutairi, Lynne Biggin, R.N., Unit Co-ordinator, Ethel McLaughlin, health care sitter, and all the staff on 8.1 at the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII, for their care, compassion and support.
