After a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, January 2, 2005 at the age of 73 at Southlake Regional Health Centre (York County) Newmarket, Ontario. Son of the late Alex and Phyllis Murray formerly of Toronto. Brother of the late Sandy Murray of Sharon, Ontario and Phillip Murray of Penticton, B.C. Loving companion of Yvonne. Father of Jaye, Kim, Beth, Scott, Ron and Harry. Proud grandfather of 18 and great grandfather of 2. In accordance with John's wishes cremation has taken place.
