FRASER, ANNIE KIRK - Peacefully, at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour, NB on January 3, 2005, Mrs. Annie Kirk (Stevens) Fraser, wife of the late John F. Fraser, of St. George, NB and formerly of St. Stephen, NB. Born in St. Stephen on March 3, 1908, she was a daughter of the late Albert Howe and Elizabeth (Kirk) Stevens. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by two daughters, Kaye (Ralph) Southard of St. George and Linda (Leonard) Stewart of Westville, Nova Scotia; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Annie was pre-deceased by one sister, Aileen Sinclair and three brothers, Earl, Albert and George Stevens. Annie enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a charter member of the Olive Rebekah Lodge of St. Stephen and the Pythian Sisters. She enjoyed piano and was the pianist for both lodges. She also was a member of the Presbyterain Kirk in St. Stephen. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, from where the service will be held at in The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel, on Wednesday at 2 pm, with Rev. Stephen Cho officiating. Interment to follow in the St. George Rural Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Fundy Nursing Home or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. ( www.stgeorgefh.ca )
