Donald Robert MacDow October 05, 1940 - January 03, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) MacDOW, Donald Robert - 64, Middle Cornwall, formerly of Middle Sackville, passed away peacefully January 3, 2005, at home. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Joseph and Jesse (Barker) MacDow. He was employed for many years with Maritime Beverages, and most recently worked 13 years in the Halifax Shipyards. He loved fishing and hunting. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, the former Sheila Messervey; daughters, Donna (Todd) Fowler, Deborah (Ernie) Watson, all of Middle Sackville; Tammy (Brian) Yochoff, Upper Sackville; sons, Freddie (Heather), Whitby, Ont.; Joe (Stephanie), Beaver Bank; brothers, Harold (Eleanor), Lake Charlotte; Earl (Gracie), Ellershouse; Gordon (Carrie), Leonard (Karen), all of Lower Sackville; sisters, Ruby Johnston, Whitby, Ont.; Noreen Pottie, Lower Sackville; Lois Jarvis, Avondale, Hants Co.; Evelyn (Ron) Arsenault, Spryfield; Joyce Richardson, British Columbia; Bernice (Granville) Maxwell, New Brunswick; grandchildren, Danielle, Shauna, Robert, Cody, Shawn, Tyler, Brandon, Alex; great-grandson, Aiden. He was predeceased by sister, Dorothy. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville, where funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, Archdeacon Ron Cutler officiating.
